Close by and part of the L'Anse aux Meadows experience is NORSTEAD, a re-created 11th century Viking Port of Trade featuring a Church, Chieftains Hall, Workshop, Axe-Throwing Arena and Replica Viking Ship, among other exhibits.  Also available at Norstead are educational materials, programs and costumed interpretations of Viking tales to help visitors gain a greater understanding of Norse life while adding fun and excitement to your travels.
